In line with the university’s talent cultivation reform philosophy of "dual-orientation and dual-integration," the Accounting program has implemented a comprehensive reform of diversified talent cultivation models. It has preliminarily established a talent cultivation system that integrates localization with internationalization, forming distinctive program features that closely align with the demands of socio-economic development and students' learning needs. Leveraging the university’s national-level "E+" Experimental Zone, the program launched the dual-degree integrated cultivation project "English + Accounting" in 2012. In 2013, it introduced the Accounting (ACCA Orientation Class), adopting a cultivation model that combines "academic education with professional qualification education." Also in 2013, in collaboration with overseas universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Canada, and other countries, the program established "2+2" and "2+3" international exchange student programs.
The Accounting program offers two specializations: Big Data Accounting and Intelligent Finance. The program aims to cultivate high-quality, interdisciplinary talents who are not only proficient in core theories of accounting, auditing, and financial management but also master cutting-edge technologies like big data analysis and intelligent decision-making, meeting the demands of the digital economy and the AI era.
The Big Data Accounting specialization focuses on equipping students with the ability to mine, analyze, and visually present massive financial and non-financial data using tools such as Python and big data technologies. The Intelligent Finance specialization emphasizes technologies like machine learning, intelligent financial decision-making, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation), preparing students to handle corporate investment, financing analysis, and decision-making in intelligent environments.
The core curriculum integrates traditional strengths like Principles of Accounting and Intermediate Financial Accounting with advanced technological courses. Supported by a strong faculty complemented by industry experts, graduates are well-prepared for high-value positions in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and intelligent decision-making across industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions, government agencies, and accounting firms.
