To further enhance college students' career planning awareness, help them clearly anchor their career development direction, comprehensively improve their comprehensive quality, and consolidate future career competitive advantages, the School of Management held the selection round for the 3rd National College Student Career Planning Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "3rd Career Planning Competition") on the afternoon of November 18 at the "One-Stop" Activity Room 023 on the basement floor of the Bell Tower. After early mobilization, registration organization, and screening at all grade levels, 11 undergraduate and graduate contestants entered the School final defense stage, including 7 contestants in the Growth Track and 4 contestants in the Employment Track. Counselors Ma Chao, Wang Meilu, Guo Xiangyuan, and Fu Yunhao served as judges for this competition, and some student representatives participated in the event.

The Growth Track is oriented towards students in their freshman, sophomore, and junior years, aiming to cultivate students' scientific career development thinking, helping them target the improvement of comprehensive literacy and professional competence during the university period, while systematically assessing the scientific nature of career goals and the practicality of career planning. In the competition, contestants delivered presentations centered on core dimensions such as career enlightenment background, self-cognition system, depth of career cognition, career planning framework, and dynamic adjustment mechanism, demonstrating profound thinking on personal growth and career development.

The Employment Track focuses on junior and senior undergraduates and graduate student groups. Oriented towards actual job hunting combat, it enhances contestants' core competitiveness through real-world scenario simulations and comprehensively tests the completeness of their employment preparation. The competition helps contestants accurately locate blind spots in career cognition, short boards in skill reserves, and weaknesses in job-hunting techniques, achieving efficient identification and filling of gaps.

As an important part of "Learning at the School of Management — Student Growth Guide," the School will take this competition as an opportunity to further expand the coverage of career education, deepen the effectiveness of employment guidance, continuously gather consensus and synergy in talent cultivation, solidly promote the organic integration of career education and employment practice, and ultimately build a distinctive career education ecosystem that fits the actual development of the School of Management and the growth needs of students.
