On December 5, the School of Management held the “Sending Warmth for the Exam, Escorting the New Journey” care event for the Class of 2026 postgraduate entrance examination candidates at the “One-Stop” Student Community Study Space. Members of the School’s leadership team and undergraduate counselors for the Class of 2022 participated together, extending deep care and high expectations to the students in their final sprint for the exam, and presenting them with specially customized “Exam Success Care Packages.”
At the beginning of the event, Ms. Zuo Hui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, extended encouragement to the students. She stated that from the resolute start at the beginning of preparation to the persistence in the final sprint, students have successfully traversed 80% of the journey. Facing the remaining 20% of the critical race, only by sticking to the original intention and striving unremittingly can one reach the shore of victory. She put forward three earnest hopes for the students: First, build a foundation of confidence, always believing in the strength accumulated and the value of hard work to dispel confusion with firm conviction; Second, guard the foundation of health, as it is currently the peak season for flu, students must pay attention to physical and mental adjustment, take protective measures, maintain a regular schedule and balanced diet, and escort the sprint preparation with a strong physique; Third, focus on the core essentials, grasp the review priorities precisely in the sprint stage, aiming to "cross the line and hit high scores," without coveting difficult or obscure questions, and make the final effort before the exam with a stable mentality.
Dean Yan Huafei offered the eight-character motto of “Review Seriously, Battle Calmly” to navigate the students precisely. He emphasized that in the sprint stage, it is necessary to adjust the physical and mental state in time, strengthen memory and deepen understanding of core knowledge points in professional courses and politics, while maintaining normalized practice for Mathematics and English to keep a good "hand feel" for the battle. More importantly, students should be calm and composed in the exam hall, fully transforming the knowledge accumulated over time into answering ability. He sent a message to all candidates, wishing that everyone lives up to their day and night cultivation and eventually achieves their dreams and succeeds on the honor roll.
Subsequently, the School leaders and teachers personally handed the gift packages full of love to the students. The packages included customized items by the School such as “Guan Xiaoli” exclusive “Success on the Honor Roll” Pepsi, “Pass Every Exam” folders, “Win a Master’s Degree in One Battle” stickers, as well as heartwarming items like lollipops symbolizing “You are Great” and Skittles implying “Good Things Will Happen.” Every gift carried the School’s beautiful wishes for the students’ bright future and promising prospects.
The event specially set up a “Heartwarming Postcards” segment. Counselors had collected earnest entrustments and warm encouragement from 50 parents of the candidates in advance, putting family love onto the postcards; at the same time, they also wrote down sincere blessings and cheering words for the candidates one by one. The concern and expectations between the lines deeply touched the students on site, moving many to tears. In the cold winter season, this concern from family and care from the School was like a ray of warm sun, which not only relieved the students' anxiety and fatigue in the sprint stage but also injected warmth and strength into their hearts, turning into the confidence to forge ahead and overcome difficulties.
The School has always adhered to the student-centered approach for growth and development, deeply cultivating the system of academic support and humanistic care, and striving to create an educational environment with warmth, strength, and sentiment. In the future, the School will continue to be the most solid reliance for students on their journey of chasing dreams and the warmest shelter when flying against the wind, attentively escorting every youth ideal to take root and bloom brilliantly.
