On June 25, Luo Qiong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, led a team to Xinzhou District to carry out admissions publicity and held the “Science Popularization in High Schools” (Academic Outreach) activity at the Yangluo Campus and Zhucheng Campus of Xinzhou No. 1 High School respectively.
In the morning at the Yangluo Campus, Luo Qiong, through diverse forms such as meticulously planned science popularization lectures, immersive interactive Q&A, and in-depth analysis of real corporate cases, systematically introduced to the high school students the core conceptual system of Management Science, the frontier development trends in the digital era, and innovative application scenarios in key industries such as Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and Medical Health.
In the afternoon at the Zhucheng Campus, Luo Qiong introduced in detail the educational history and disciplinary advantages of Wuhan Institute of Technology, as well as the major setup and cultivation policies of the School of Management. She provided comprehensive explanations centering on issues of interest to students and parents, such as college entrance examination (Gaokao) admission, the scholarship and financial aid system, and recommendation for postgraduate admission without examination (Baoyan).
This “Science Popularization in High Schools” activity, through the organic integration of theoretical explanation and practical experience, not only effectively deepened the exchange and communication with high schools in the Xinzhou area but also, through the display of real and tangible professional charm, attracted a large number of potential students with strong interest in the humanities and social sciences for the School of Management. After the event, more than 200 students consulted on the spot about the School's admission policies and major setup.
